U3A Denia

By completing a Member Application Form and paying the annual subscription for membership of U3A Dénia, you are agreeing to comply with all the Terms and Conditions of membership described in the Constitution (a copy of which is available from the Secretary). You are no longer in full time employment and you or your partner are over 50 years of age. In addition, the following conditions apply:

• You fully understand that you participate in any activity at your own risk.


• You agree to the personal information you provide being held on a computer database.


• You understand that references to commercial businesses and services in any U3A Dénia literature or any other form (e.g. the Members' Discount Scheme) should NOT be construed as a recommendation of the company by U3A Dénia. Any transaction entered into between a member and a company is entirely between those two parties.
  
  

Payments to the U3A Denia bank account

You may make payments for travel trips, events and membership either by card, cash, money transfer and online bank transfer.
Payments by card (debit or credit) must be made in euros. Payments in cash are only accepted for membership subscription payments.
Payments by money transfer, for example Wise and Currencies Direct, must be made in euros.

Please pay in euros from a bank account held in an EU country. To make sure your bank account is held in an EU country, please check your IBAN number. The first two characters are the country code and an EU bank will have the first two characters from the list below.
If you must pay from a bank based outside the EU, please still pay in euros but add 18€ to the transaction to cover the cost to us of payments from banks outside the EU.
NOTE: The UK with country code GB is not in the EU and will attract the 18€ surcharge. Revolut accounts held in the UK when used for online transfers will also attract the 18€ surcharge

If you are a frequent visitor to Spain, it is worth setting up an account with companies such as Currencies Direct or Wise through which you can pay in euros for free and may also get a better exchange rate.
