Meetings: | Monday and Wednesday |
Time: | Monday 10.30am to 12pm. Wednesday 10.30pm to 12.00 |
Venue: | Pádel Indoor Centre at Ondara |
The Game
Pádel is a game similar to tennis. Players face each other across a net; scoring is the same as tennis and the balls are similar to tennis balls. Pádel differs in that ball boys (persons) are not required as the court has walls and the balls cannot escape.
Where
We meet at the Pádel Indoor centre at Ondara. The courts are situated on Calle Tormos in the industrial area next to the Shopping Centre. Upon approaching the centre from the N332 roundabout turn right, cross the next roundabout where you will see the Pádel Indoor centre on the right, a large blue metal building. Ample parking is available in front of the building.
When
Matches start at 10.30am on Wednesday afternoons and 10:30am on Monday. The court(s) are booked for 90 minutes. Only doubles are played. Post match discussion and re-hydration therapy takes place at the courts. Showers are available.
Equipment
Pádel ‘bats’ are supplied for beginners but it is expected that if you continue with the sport, you will purchase your own.
Coaching
The centre runs coaching lessons.
Sorry, but for the time being, we are unable to any new members.
