The Game
Pádel is a game similar to tennis. Players face each other across a net; scoring is the same as tennis and the balls are similar to tennis balls. Pádel differs in that ball boys (persons) are not required as the court has walls and the balls cannot escape.
Where
We meet at the Pedregeur Pádel Cobert Centre. The courts are situated in the industrial area of Pedreguer. Taking the second turn to Pedreguer from the N332, immediately left and use the one way system to approach the large metal building which is well signed. Ample parking is available in front of the building.
When
Matches start at 11.00am on Mondays and Wednesdays. The court(s) are booked for 90 minutes. Only doubles are played. Post match discussion and re-hydration therapy takes place at the courts. Showers are available. The cost is 4 euros per session. Pre-booking is via a Whatsapp group.
Equipment
Pádel ‘bats’ are supplied for beginners but it is expected that if you continue with the sport, you will purchase your own.
Coaching
The centre runs coaching lessons.
